What does a Reading include?
The Vedic Astrology Reading is a personal event. The first reading is the most important and forms the basis of your cosmic birth chart.
Before the reading:
- I will do an in-depth study (I will spend about 2-3 hours) of your cosmic map, i.e. the positions of planets and constellations at the time of your birth.
- I will create a comprehensive synthesis of your data to be able to illuminate your life path: past, present and future
In a reading, you'll receive:
- In-depth insights of your personality, strengths, potential and possible challenges
- Insights about activities and practices that can help highlight your strengths and mitigate challenges (Kriya yoga, breath-work, meditation, mantras, etc.)
- An overview of planetary influences on your life currently and an overview of the future (months/years). You will understand what is most relevant at this stage of your life.
If time allows, in the first reading:
- Guidance on work/career matters, relationships, future opportunities, potential challenges and development, karma
- A more detailed look of the near future (months/years) and how to time any projects and goals you may have in mind
- Answers to your questions, using your birth chart insights

Vedic astrology is the sister science of Yoga (the science of how to live a balanced and fulfilling, deeply joyful life) and Ayurveda (the Indian science of health), meaning that these sciences are interconnected and mutually supportive.Vedic Astrology is also known as Jyotish. It is a science that is thousands of years old, based on precise mathematical calculations and an understanding of the cosmic energies that affect us.

Note! The reading can also be done for your child. You will learn your child's unique path so that you can best support them throughout their life.
I spend about 2-3 hours preparing for our meeting, the interpretation itself takes about 90 minutes. Implementation via the Zoom app.
Foundation Mentoring 4 Weeks

Foundation Mentoring will advance your growth path by leaps and bounds over 4 weeks. I highly recommend this mentoring package to anyone interested in their growth, regardless of age or stage of life. During the 3 sessions you will receive my comprehensive personal support and mentoring to help you bring out your highest potential. The practices are created just for you and will deeply support your growth. Get that routine that sticks!
Mentoring includes:
- 1 session (60min): we lay a solid foundation for your growth. I will teach you a simple and effective meditation routine and we will discuss in more depth the patterns of thought and action that support your life.
- 2 session (60min): I will teach you a personal practice (about 30 minutes) that I have crafted specifically for you. We will practice together and you will learn the techniques (including breath-work, integrative yoga) so that you can continue practicing independently.
- 3 session (60min): review session, we will go through your questions and I further support you on your path.
I will prepare all our sessions and create a personalised practice for you to best support this stage of your life.
The first 2 meetings will be held as close together as possible, so that you can get the practice routine and tools right away. The last meeting will take place about 4 weeks after the start. In a follow-up reading session, we will dive deeper into the area of your life you want to zoom in. We will use your cosmic blueprint and the current cosmic events as a guide for the topic you wish to observe.
We will shed further light on the area of interest to you, so that you can navigate further along the line, drawing on your individual characteristics and strengths.
Topics for follow-up reading:
- Work, career and entrepreneurship (personal path and strengths: e.g. career changes and business launches, start-ups, partnerships)
- Relationships (deeper understanding of your own personality and how you interact with others + deeper understanding of yourself and the energies that affect you and your interactions)
- A deep dive into the present moment (looking at what's happening in the cosmos right now and how you can best navigate this time)
I spend about 1-2 hours preparing for the reading, the session itself lasts 60 minutes. Follow-up reading requires that the first reading has been done. We meet via the Zoom app.

I am Sanjay, your mentor and astrologer
I am Sanjay (birth name Riku Uski), a mentor, teacher, student and Vedic astrologer, practically rooted in the Yog-Vedic science and tradition.
In the past, I have worked in many different industries as an specialist, leader and entrepreneur. My old ways of doing things expired at work and at home, and I was no longer well. Finally, it was time to face myself deeply and let go of many of the things that didn't serve me anymore. With the help of teachers, mentors and deep practices, I was able to make a major life change in a relatively short time.
I live part of the year in the Himalayas in India, the birthplace of Yoga and the Vedic tradition, close to my teacher. I have a holistic and practical understanding of the teachings of ancient wisdom traditions, which I study, teach and practice daily.
I have received comprehensive and practical teacher training in integrative yoga (including philosophy, wisdom tradition, consciousness, Kriyas, breath-work, mantras, meditation, asana) from a Master of the Yog-Vedantic tradition in the Himalayas.
With the same intensity and depth, I have also personally received from my teacher my training as a Vedic Astrologer, or Jyotish, in 2024 as a full-time course of almost 2 months.
Today, I am gratefully supporting myself and others in a way I never dreamed of before.

The most important preparation is an open mind and an open heart. When you are curious and open to learning about yourself, you will get the most out of our encounter. You don't need to know anything about Vedic astrology (or any other astrology) beforehand.
When you order an reading, you must then also provide me with your exact date and place of birth. For example, 12 September 1975, 14:43 Helsinki. (see below, if you do not know your exact date of birth, we can still do the reading)
In addition, I recommend that:
You will receive the reading in a quiet and peaceful place, where there are no others..not even your beloved pets to disturb you :)
Try to calm yourself down before the reading - take a walk in nature, breathe calmly, journal, don't use the social media or read emails/news, etc.
Avoid heavy meals and excessive caffeine intake - we both want to be awake and alert :)

Vedic Astrology (Jyotish) is a much older (thousands of years) and more accurate spiritual science based on mathematics and the movements of planets and constellations.
Jyotish allows us to make accurate observations about a person's life, personality and also about past and future seasons in life.
In addition, we gain individual insight into a person's potential, and a skilled Vedic astrologer can provide practical guidance on how to make the most of your strengths and minimise challenges.
(A competent Vedic Astrologer is deeply rooted in his own practice...the light can only be shared with others if the light is found within oneself)
Jyotish is a living science: what is relevant to an individual's life at any given time depends on his or her current maturity as a human being. Through Jyotish we can bring light and understanding to everyone, regardless of their stage of life and maturity.
Note: A mature Jyotishi (Vedic Astrologer) will NOT judge, blame, condemn, but bring understanding to our path of growth.
Western astrology is based on a rough estimate of the positions of the Sun and the equators.
At present, the difference between Vedic and Western Astrology in terms of the solar system is already around 23-24 degrees.

No, it is not. Horoscope is more a term derived from Western astrology, usually seen in the entertainment section of tabloids :)
In Vedic Astrology we use constellations to help us on many different levels and the constellations have the same names as in Western astrology (e.g. the constellation of Taurus or Capricorn). In Vedic Astrology, we use the movements and characteristics of the planets as well as the Moon as a profound aid.
Each person, based on their birth date and location, in the Eastern sky, has had a particular constellation that becomes significant in many ways in their life.

Yes we can. Sometimes the time of day may be obscured and in this case we will work out together the most likely time of birth to give us the highest probability of finding your chart.
I will first interview you a little on the subject and then compare the likely options and get your chart for the reading.

Unfortunately, a reading cannot be paid in instalments, nor can a paid reading be cancelled, because:
After your payment and booking, I may soon start working on your data and reading your charts (even if the booked reading time slot is 1-6 weeks away).
If the booked time needs to be rescheduled, this can be done if we reschedule at least 3 days in advance.
Mentoring packages can also be paid in instalments if required, please contact me.
